New week, new letter! Welcome to today’s newsletter. It was so amazing to connect with some of you over the weekend, the feedback has been so encouraging and I’m so grateful for the beautiful community being built here.
🗞️ Roundup of Lessons in Seasons
This will be the final newsletter for the year and writing this, I am truly in awe of God and how this year has gone. I’m grateful for each of you who have engaged, recommended the newsletter with others, attended community events and more. I can’t wait to continue to grow with you all. That being said, today’s newsletter is a reflective one and as always I hope this meets you where you are. 💖
2024 has not been the perfect year, but it has been the year I didn’t know I needed. I realised it was the little incremental changes, that made all the difference. From tendering to my soul, slowing down when needed, speaking up more, trying new things, it was a year of letting go of the former, and leaning into the new. A year where I truly realised, the state of my soul, is more important than anything I do. A year where I realised for something new to blossom, something of the old will need to be released. A year the reminded me of the importance of building solid foundations and not being afraid to slow down when needed.
As the year draws to an end, it’s likely you are taking stock of different areas of your life, the highs, the lows and the in between. In all of this, I want to encourage you, to maintain a heart of gratitude. I said to a friend of mine recently, that I’m no longer basing the success of my year on solely external markers and I still stand by it. The reason for this is, it’s so easy for us to go on a non-ending hamster wheel of external markers of achievements and feel as though we are unsuccessful when we don’t have anything ‘physical’ to show for it. All growth is not visible. There is definitely a place for tangible fruit showing, but in the same breath, the intangible areas of growth matters too. For example, becoming kinder, growing in your capacity to love others, having more self-control, being less fearful etc. These improvements matter too. So as you lean back and release your breath, I hope you find reasons to be thankful. The fact that you’re alive and reading this, is a good enough reason to be grateful and there is so much more to unravel. I’d love to hear a key lesson you’ve learnt this year, share with me!
Writing to you consistently this year has been such a beautiful journey. Though some days were harder than others, it’s shown me that a real community exists in other spaces too and what we are building here is real and true. As I’ve written to you, I’ve also written to myself and it’s been such an instrumental learning point for me. I’ve also unravelled as I have encouraged you to do the same. Writing consistently has built within me a new level of consistency that I know has set the right foundations for more to come. I’m so excited to see what 2025 has in store for us all. There is so much more ahead of us and as the year draws to and end, I’d like to encourage you to regularly create time to quiten your soul. God is whispering instructions that’ll be key to the new year, it’s worth slowing down to listen to. 2025 is going to be a year of exploits and soaring, don’t underestimate how much can change in a year. I’m excited to keep writing to you in the new year. Merry Christmas and happy new year in advance, see you soon!
Love,
Rhieme

I’ve really loved taking in your newsletters this year and I would say that one thing I’ve really learned this year is how to be more loving and I’m so grateful to be serving a God who stands for such a thing! In terms of how I believe I’ve grown this year, I think I grew to look more and more like my heavenly Father in such a beautiful way and in a short amount of time. My heart is really full🥺. I thought I hated this year at the start but coming out of it, I’m only grateful and I know moving forward that as long as God is with me, my years will always be lovable even if it doesn’t seem like it in the physical like you said…He’s really working behind the scenes🥹!!!
Thank you for being faithful, God bless you🥰<3
